This has been sitting in my desktop for a week now. I was supposed to upload this when we were offline for three days last week. All the time we thought it was an ISP-related problem after the storm. Turns out, I accidentally turned off the radio to PC power switch.

More on these MOCs later.

The one on the rightmost screen is the classic space LEGO 6823 ( Surface Transport ). I have two of this. One was given to me when I was a child and now I'm playing with it with my own kiddo. The other one I recently acquired, unopened for 27 years before I grant it its freedom.

I'm not a 'store them to increase their value' type of human.

I'm more like if you buy it, you must a. play with it. b. use it and take photos and/or c. draw inspiration from it.

Oh, but there is a Game 7.

Only the third ( or fifth ) Finals Game 7 in the last 21 years of the NBA.

How about a last second shot that will decide who takes it all..?

I don't know. Somehow I still can't shake that weird feeling.

I will be away from the computer for most part of today to work on the blueprints of TheProject.

LOOOOoNG Table. SIGN Pens. A4 papers folded crosswise.

Processes. Modules. Vision. Goal. Data Structures. Arrows. Flow.

They all start on paper for me.

In a way, this closely resembles last night's jam packed train ride.

Ah... MRT.

For those who are wondering... this still is the old tech/work BLOG site. Even with these LEGO minifigs around.

LIFT

We don't need to geek out arguing on the existence of a T minus zero, right?

...

'Do it again. Do it again.'

That was the reaction of our 6 year old when he saw this one.

Of course I have to explain Photoshop to him.

...

Ever since LEGO365 ended days ago, it left a gaping void in the-keeping-the -sanity-intact parts of my day.

I googled here and there for a similar site. Flickr-ed here and there but I can't find one.

There are good ones. Amazing ones. But not daily. In this current work-related stress-oriented life of ours, I need those LEGO shots daily.

Twice or thrice a day if possible.

LEGO minifigs, Mike and Wilfo discuss their recent gig at zenbananas.com.

Ah yes... 'a zenbanana a day drives the doctor away'.

It's a site created by 'TOPBanana', a comsci professor of mine in college born out of... wait let him talk about that part. I don't want to get ahead of him

I'm contributing on the 'art' part.

Previous college students of mine, who are still reading this blog... TOPBanana is the person partially responsible for influencing me to do those crazy stuff I inflicted on you during those days... : )

The class singing sessions (late student sings (yes this is a comsci class)), index card at the back info questions, how homework essay projects are scored, open book exams and a lot more of that approach... came from him.

A lot of good things can be scribbled but let's leave those for another post.

Going back to zenbananas.com... go check The Secrets of The Universe post. That is where Mike and Wilfo came in.

And here's the link for a hi-res version of the image above.
