In her &#8216;Blogs I Read&#8217; section you&#8217;ll find some links to cs students blogging too. I guess indirectly, <a href=\"http:\/\/foxpro.ntsl119.com\/archives\/00000209.html\" target=\"_blank\">some calls<\/a> are answered.<\/p>\n<p>(CS stands for ComSci not CounterStrike nor CyberSex, Bit-wit)<\/p>\n<p>She&#8217;s blogging about project presentations and defenses currently. I&#8217;m beginning to <a href=\"http:\/\/foxpro.ntsl119.com\/archives\/00000068.html\" target=\"_blank\">miss those teaching days of mine<\/a> even more&#8230; and the food too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/areman.blogspot.com\" target=\"_blank\">Areman<\/a> (who just transferred his blogs to blogspot (who I worked with before I transferred here in Manila (who happens to be a classmate of mine also when I was still in college))) also posted some <a href=\"http:\/\/areman.blogspot.com\/2004\/10\/crying-ladies.html\" target=\"_blank\">defense-related blogs<\/a> on his site.<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the many things I like about <a href=\"http:\/\/areman.blogspot.com\" target=\"_blank\">Areman<\/a>, his angst which is reflected in his &#8216;valiant&#8217; use of the f-word.<\/p>\n<p>But don&#8217;t let the f-words cloud you. That is an intelligent mind&#8230; you don&#8217;t graduate cum laude in AdDU for nothing. (And this was six years ago, when education in our country was not <em>that<\/em> &#8216;commercialized&#8217; yet.)<\/p>\n<p>Back to defenses and presentations, one of my favorite &#8216;<a href=\"http:\/\/foxpro.ntsl119.com\/archives\/00000198.html\" target=\"_blank\">torturing processes<\/a>&#8216; before was making Student-<font size=\"2\" face=\"Tahoma, Verdana, sans-serif\">01<\/font> delete five blocks of code for Student-<font size=\"2\" face=\"Tahoma, Verdana, sans-serif\">02<\/font> to fix while I&#8217;m asking Student-<font size=\"2\" face=\"Tahoma, Verdana, sans-serif\">03<\/font> some project-related questions. All of these things are done in front of the class.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve also done that process every time I was invited as a panel in other schools. <\/p>\n<p>It never fails to amuse me.<\/p>\n<p>Some of us are just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.deviantart.com\/deviation\/826247\/\" target=\"_blank\">born sadists<\/a> you know.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the local scene, Filipino [tech]bloggers are being featured here, here and here.
